Monday at Nine are currently working with a diversified Global Technology group to support with the recruitment of an Online Trading Manager in a newly created Market Place department based in London.

The role will form a crucial part of a newly created department with the purpose of growing the core marketplace business. The department is extremely cross-functional and works with all parts of the company, connecting Supply, Demand, Product / Tech and Operations to achieve our long-term strategic vision for the core business and short-term trading targets. The role will require coordination across multiple stakeholders across the business including C-level management, product, digital marketing, merchandising, product, analytics and data science. 

Key Features of the role:

·       You will provide frameworks and recommendations, organize and guide internal and external research to guide / support trading decisions

·       You will be responsible for hosting a bi-weekly trading meeting  for a large group of people from all departments across supply, demand, product and operations to highlight business priorities and help them to focus their work against these

·       A major workstream will be in developing a deep understanding of how the levers in the business work today and how they could be optimized to achieve our goals

·       You will work closely with other senior members of the trading, product and technology teams to set priorities around future commercial lever development guide the features of these products

·       You will the opportunity to hire and grow a team 

·       Your team will track competitor, market and macro trends and develop various analytics dashboards / reports to ensure other teams are making data-driven decisions to drive trade


In order to qualify for this role we are interested to see candidates with a CV that truly stands out; strong academics (in, for example Maths or Economics), previous experience working with an Ecommerce or Technology company, a highly creative and entrepreneurial mindset and the hunger and passion to drive innovation and change and demand nothing but the very best.
